| I've just come across this from EH whilst doing a bit of surfing. http://www.wessexarch.co.uk/fi[...]nge_and_west_kennet_avenue.pdf I don't know how long it's been available, maybe others will. Cracking idea, get 'em young and make it interesting but it should be accurate I feel and not assume things. On the first page they state: Henges are circular banks and ditches, built for ceremonies about four or five thousand years ago. Who says? It may well be true, but then again it may not!
