Other great sites I enjoyed were Gamelands and Druids Stone Circle as well as the one by Sellerfield which name escapes me.

Ayup - aye, twas a great w/e!

The (sadly overgrown) Sellafield one is Greycroft &, yeah, I'm very fond of the Druids' Circle of Ulverston too. I'd agree that the 'must-sees' are Sunkenkirk, Castlerigg & Long Meg (if you do Meg, also see Little Meg & Glassonby). For wild & woolly, I'd go for the Burn Moor complex.

Tons of other stuff worth seeing too - Gamelands, Lacra, Moor Divock, Black Combe, Gunnerkeld, Oddendale & the other stuff around Shap.

The RA at Copt Howe is fantastic when (as Scubi sez) the light's right.

:^D
