He is about 11 now andmanaged to slip a disc in his back after getting scared during one of November fireworks nights which, combined with his arthritic problems, made him a very unhappy collie. I drove him over to West Kennet LB and then to Avebury last weekend which was his first megalithic outing since his problems started. Although quite tired and stiff at the end of it he seemed to enjoy himself. Not sure he is up to a long drive to Cumbria but I will see how it goes.
