I'm sure you can see the eastern arc of it in O'Kelly's little book (available from da little shed), so it can't be completely vanished for that long. Might have to check that, I'm going on memory. Do you know who owns that field?
I've got some stuff from them before (heritage), via AbeBooks. Nice website. I'll have a poke around it later.
Dont know who owns it but they allow access to the circle that is in there so maybe they would be open to an idea like this.
Think it is gone since the 1800s but Im not completely sure.
If you have anything send it on, might of use. If the stuff I get from heritage is any good I may scan and send on.
