I still need to find that damn well! I've found a likely tree that it might be under, and found a largish rectangular ditch next to it, but no stones! Am I in the wrong place tehn? Dammit! ;)

Squid - Mrs G and I made the same mistake the first time we went there. In shorts. Which was a big mistake because the path was, at the time, pretty indistinguishable due to gorse! Ouch! And it was a scorcher, and we got a bit sunburned. Happy days! :D

But... Sorry - didn't see the stones you're referring to! Useless, huh? ;)

We passed a local walking his dog and he told us to watch out for the disused open mines hidden in the undergrowth - couldn't be something to do with those, could it? Or he could have been pulling our leg... :)

We might be visiting the end of September - might go for a looksee!
