The excavation of one arc of the circle having revealed another 19 stone sockets it has been inferred that there were more than 60 in the ring (so much for earlier calculations). Of course this would only mean that the intent was to have more than 60 stones, not that there were that number plugged in. So, having already left 56 behind what is the next significant number and why ?
