| Has anyone ever had a go at trying to work out where this might have been? The only reference seems to say that it is "where the Keswick road meets the Grasmere road" (Hodgson 1820). As it is the road FROM Keswick, where it meets the road TO Grasmere, my inclination is that it might be around NY 338 083, based on looking at the 1st edition OS maps.
