'Hidden' stone circle on an ordinance survey map

Out for a walk yesterday morning in the area of Coate Water of Swindon -instead of going into Coate, I turned left and discovered for the first time a lovely walk by a small river which I undersatand to be the river Cole. After a night of heavy rain, the river was quite fast flowing - being fed by the Coate lakes and feeding into two smaller lakes.

I was astonished to see some quite large sarsen stones reinforcing one of the banks by a small bridge and started wondering if they may have been taken from the stone circle which apparently exists on the the nearby Dayhouse Lane (by the Richard Jefferies House). This circle appears quite clearly on an a current ordinance survey map but I have never met anyone who has actually seen it.

Has anyone ever found this stone circle? Would be very grateful for some clues.
