I was told by the man at RCAHMS that they had collected so much info on the RSC's compiling the Donside book, that they decided to 'finish the job' by surveying the remaining sites and releasing them in a book by mid 2008.......drool......

I've not made the trip to the Tullos cairns yet, as the area is such a dive, I haven't been able to face it. Be prepared for a ton of beer cans and some empty needles if the old fort is any indication....

Bieldside (Cairnlea) cairn is worth a visit (off the A93) despite the housing estate.
