I should have mentioned this a while ago but completely forgot.
As part of the Living Amongst the Monuments Project in Cumbria there are regular field walking activities taking place in Eastern Cumbria.
There are only two dates left this season the 21st & 28th of this month.

On the Sunday the 21st They will be concentrating their investigation to the Whinn fell area to the SE of Penrith.
If you would like to join them, meet at 10.00am at the layby outside the Cemetery on Beacon Edge Penrith.
For newcomers, just a reminder, we have a policy of no digging, dogs or metal detectors .
We will be disinfecting our footwear before entering the fields & the disinfectant will be provided.

If you want further details contact
