Your lozenge-marked stone on Harper's Lane is trowel marks in cement. I've found the remains of the cairn on Rivington Pike though, which is more interesting. Just a low circular bank, roughly to the north of the Victorian tower !

Sorry about that stone i only drove past it in the rain didnt get a good look at it!
The cairn sounds intresting any photo's to follow?
