Does anyone know what happened to the Heysham Head graves site that was in here?
has it been pulled?

Hi TH,

I'm afraid the graves are gone. They lived on borrowed time for some years. Not since Sutton Hoo has a site fought so bravely against the TMA Submission Guidelines.

They will be missed.

Bugger, that was the first site I posted about! Mind you, they were definitely NOT within the remit of TMA although there is evidence of Mesolithic activity in the area, so maybe we could've sneaked it in from behind, so to speak?

RIP

Aye its a shame theyre gone all the same, i visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved the site.
but as you say definately not in the remit however its been a site of occupation for thousands of years it was hard to tell what belonged where!

Peace
