Aye - true enough. But dialogue doesn't always work. Especially when there's not somebody at these sites 24 hours a day! Signs are there 24 hours a day and do have some impact - look at the ones in Cornwall. It's not difficult to either leave nothing, leave something biodegradeable, or not worry if someone else clears it away! Then we're all happy, yes? Good! ;o)

But even that doesn't work! When I lived & worked at the Rollrights 24/7 on and off over a 2 year period, there was still plenty of crap to clean up each and every day - 10 times more from the tourists than any visiting pagans. Though the latter group did leave some damn good lumps of crystal over the period! (but I gave 'em all away).

Cheers - Paul
