I'm planning on going to Aberdeenshire this Sept for my 40th birthday...I want to base myself near Dunnieer etc and explore the stones. Im going with my girlfriend, who is not as much as a stonehead as me, she is worried that there will be nothing to do at night - restaurants, pubs etc...anyone know what its like up there, all im bothered about is seeing the circles, but i want to keep the peace!! Can we get good food etc??
