We were going to go up in ours (we WILL go next year!) and found a campsite which sounded OK if you don't mind official sites: "Point of Ness is on the shores of Scapa Flow, a mile west of Stromness pierhead, and has dramatic views over the sea to the hills of Hoy. Point of Ness Caravan & Camping Site (Tel. 01856 873535)" Wild camping is allowed on Orkney as long as you are away from homesteads and lifestock. Have a blast!
