FW, that whole natural bullaun thing is even more firmly placed in my mind after seeing what lurks atop the Cheesewring. I've just spent a happy half hour trying to think how natural forces would create such a tight edge between the basin and the top of the stone. It's not easy, but when you consider the generally fantastical forms of the outcrops themselves, it's plain that mother nature knows her stuff when it comes to sculpture.

Regarding their significance, I find it hard to think these things could possibly not have been significant to someone, at some time. I mean, they're right out of a hypothetical creation myth. Dreamtime stuff.

Hooray for naturally freaky rocks. I love 'em :)
