Maybe you should accept the name. Google has 1930 hits for Silbaby. Getting popular names accepted is one of the few remnants of democracy that remain. Gravelly Hill interchange/M6 Junction 6 is now Spaghetti Junction forever isn't it?

Just because a name's reached x-hits on Google doesn't make it 'correct', nor does it make it a desirable alternative to an existing name. Worse, this sort of fly-by-night discourtesy with our language hardly helps preserve our ancient place and river names whose etymology might lead us to a better understanding of the places they describe.*

Wot next? Pagan Spring for the Swallowhead? Cropcircle Hill for Waden Hill? Grrr... You'll have to hang me upside-down and knit me goolies together before I'll ever call the Great Bank/Weedon Hill 'Sil***y' :-)
