Well no, Atkinson HAS now been acknowledged as having been remiss, though it took more than thirty years and the collapse for it to happen.

But no-one has yet had the nerve to point out that the BBC paid for the work that caused the damage that is now having to be fixed. I wonder if Auntie will have the cheek to make a big outside broadcast of the rectification?
