Acting the curmudgeon, typically, it's noticeable that with the extreme risings and settings of the moon, at the far end of the eighteen year cycle, that nobody (and I mean nobody) has tested the supposition (with a camera and tripod) that the southern moon was intended to graze the recumbent at its southern limit. It's not too late to try it out - next summer perhaps - but it is too late to shorten that first sentence ...
