| Acorn Education are currently building an Iron Age Roundhouse at Barbury Castle. More information on www.acorneducation.com Free Heritage and Environmental Guided Talks, Walks and Workshops. Barbury Castle, Wroughton, Swindon. Join Acorn Education in this unique opportunity to construct an Iron Age Roundhouse at this ancient site. 26th June - 30th July 2006 10:00 - 16:00 Round House Building. We are seeking volunteers to help erect the frame of the roundhouse. This will involve heavy lifting, woodwork, knot work, weaving & digging. Suitable for over 18’s only, to book a place as a volunteer call 07816591151 We will then be weaving the walls, making and applying the daub... and lots of thatching... 18:00 - 20:00 A Series of Evening Talks and Guided Walks.
