here's another good example posted by the mighty Tiompan.
In the 4th picture from the top you see a cup with the possiblity of a ring around it

Then, given the right light conditions, if you add a little water the ring becomes a lot clearer - 3rd picture from the top.

One side of me still favours the zen-like art of viewing rock art that involves collecting water from a nearby stream using a sphagnum sponge and then squeezing it onto the carving and then waiting for the sun to come out followed by some intense yoga to capture the perfect angle from which to view the carving.
However the beast in me demands instant gratification and the pristine images provided by the super-soaker and a big lamp brigade.
