I agree, Cheetham Close is a beautiful location, even if the circle is a bit drab. I'm just up the road from it, so it's pretty handy.

I read about a Bronze Age circle in Bowland that I intend to visit soon. It's a formerly wooden circle, now with concrete posts in place, so it might not be too hot, but it's always worth a look. Anyway here's the details if you're interested.
