Hi, Folks, an appeal to interested parties to make history and maybe get on the TV! ;-)
(Obviously, to some of you, this is old news, but Nacressa Swan OK'd this to be put here in a bid to get some stumps stirred, so "Come on Down!"). I'll be there - but don't let that put you off.

Volunteers needed for a live Channel Five show and a National Geographic documentary.

Stone rowing, erecting and dragging a 10 tonne stone!

Dates:
Monday 20th June (2pm – 9pm)
Wednesday 22nd June (11pm – 6pm)

Undisclosed Location in Salisbury/Warminster area

Darlow Smithson Productions are rebuilding Stonehenge, restoring it to its full and pristine glory and we need help!

On the most important dates of the pre-historic calendar – the summer solstice – we will carry out a range of experiments to uncover how the Ancient Britons might have moved the stones.

We need volunteers to provide people power and enthusiasm to help our StoneHengineers to move and erect two 10 tonne stones…..

You will be split into two teams, each team will use a different method of moving the stones in a bid to answer how the Stonehenge stones were moved 40 miles.

To take part in these exciting experiments, you will need to be available for one or both of the days above and in reasonably good health.

If you want to find out more about the experiments and this exciting project, please contact me on 0207 482 7027 or better still at [email protected]

...not sure about the "restoring it to its full and pristine glory bit", but if you are available and able, let the lady know!

Peace
Pilgrim
