Are the earthworks IA? and has this been proved by excavation?
Same rules apply but even more to Routing Linn.
Doesn't it make you think..hang on a minute! Is this a case of ...we've got a none linear/hengiform earthwork....hmmmmm.....it must be IA or later. I'd really like to know.

On our recent visit to Old Bewick it made me stop and think about whether there could be earlier archaeology beneath the beautiful hillfort.

Can I get an amen?
