Went up to Stokeleigh hill fort (350 BCE) in Leigh Woods, Avon Gorge (Bristol) on saturday - hurt my back carrying my mountain bike, now it hurts if I sneeze, laugh or just move!
Not many entries for this in TMA but worth a look. The volunteers have cleared a nice big area of ditch and bank so you can get a better idea of the size of it ( I reckon you'd get about four football pitches inside) and it's in a lovely setting - heavily wooded, lots of wild life around, etc
I don't have a digital camera so I thought I'd leave to one of you to document properly.
I might have to go and lay down in a minute!
