The truth is, the term puddingfest was understood by we Southerners, to be merely an amusing title for a megarak meet, and no way did we imagine we could replicate the real thing. The Yorkshire two, on the other hand, had rushed down the motorway assuming it meant what it said and sat and stuffed their faces with obvious enthusiasm. It was all very embarrassing....
