Do you want to answer my question as to whether that cupmarked stone from the beach at Lindisfarne has been officially recorded. Because, until it has, everyone on this board that knows about it is part of a conspiracy to nick it.
I don't know anything about that ball SL but it should be kept in perspective. Right now at 8.20 am the Heritage Action erosion counter is showing the running total of the number of archaeological artefacts removed by metal detectorists since 1975 (the great majority without being reported) as 10,122,586. When you check the link it'll be more.
