Also known as the "Wilmington Giant", the Long Man is 226 feet high and is thought to have been carved between the Celtic and pre-Christian Anglo-Saxon periods. The cache is hidden near the footpath at the base of the figure where there are superb views of the surrounding countryside.

Free parking and toilets are available near Wilmington Priory at N50°48.998 E000°11.387 (TQ543042). The cache is a 1/2 mile walk from here. Click here for map.

The cache is a 2 litre tupperware box originally containing: Calorie Counter book, onyx egg, wine bottle stopper, Prehistoric Creatures book, Harry Potter glasses, die-cast Porsche Boxster, pink notebook, strawberry scented gel pen, Beatrix Potter book (Tale of Tom Kitten), glow-in-the-dark duck and a £20 note eraser.
