Talking of lightening moods I passed through Avebury yesterday & had a cup of tea in the sunshine, It was a lovely day, the Red Lion was packed, the henge too with young people with kites and footballs, people with children and dogs, and lots and lots of police with high visibility stickers on their (4 ?)cars, and walking around with clipboards in those tabard flak jacket thingies....
