Only 4 miles from Uffington and Wayland's, the Eagle Tavern can be found in the lovely village of Little Coxwell just off the main A420 Oxford to Swindon road.
It's wonderful! Beer's great, hospitality's great, food generous and tasty, clean, attractive, heart of the village stuff. Cute dog, too.
Haven't stayed there (they do rooms, too), but my favourite local band (The Pig) sometimes play there on a Friday night - look out for fantastic blues and stuff there too! I highly recommend it. |
