This is the only place in the Shap area that allows camping. The campsite is the pub's garden and primarily used by walkers on the coast to coast route. Facilities are very basic nad they can only accomodate a few small tents so it's worth while booking in advance. The pub itself is excellent, friendly staff, decent beer, decent grub. |
