I agree with Scotty.
A decent, clean and friendly site, thankfully midge-free on my visit.
Be careful on the 'footpath' to the loch, I took a wrong turning and ended up 'muddy-arsing it' over a small cliff edge. |

What a gem ! Great little site to base your rock art hunting trip. Its even got the odd bit of unlisted cup marking scattered around the site. Standard issue wooley coos as you drive in will make you smile as do the stunning views from the camping area. Well blessed with a good clean shower block , BBQ areas and a couple of eating/drinking venues close by. Reception is stocked with a good selection of ice lollies ( although didn't spot any trademark Scottish megarak puddings ) and a nice lady who can point you in the direction of the rock art.
This site also complies to the E.E.C directive for the area by supporting a good flock of baseball bat waving midgies. |
