Has for a few years now been known for its real ales (it was CAMRA pub of the year 3 years ago) It also does good food. Situated on one of the few village greens in Cornwall with some interesting buildings nearby it is also handy for those exploring the western side of Bodmin Moor
Sites nearby include the Stipple Stones, Trippet Stones, Stannon and the whole Roughtor/Brown Willy area.
Also lots of crosses in the parish and the Jubilee Stone, a large granite boulder covered in 19th century carvings. |
