A nice peaceful campsite with gorgeous views. Although they emphasise that the site is for families and couples, and a sign at the entrance reads ‘no same sex groups’, single campers are welcomed. |

A good family orientated campsite within walking distance of Castlerigg. See www.castleriggfarm.com for details etc. Campers asked to be quiet after 10:30pm; good facilities and very friendly atmosphere. About £3.50 per person. |
