We arrived having driven 10 miles to get there and were summarily turfed out because we had not booked! There were 2 others in the resturant.
The blonde waitress was abrupt and without grace, we drove away flabbergasted and angry. This establishment has pretentions of high calibre, having dinned at many which are this does not get even the basics right.

Bills itself as "A restaurant of international standard. Four well appointed bedrooms." I can vouch for the restaurant, have eaten there with my wife several times - most recently when celebrating our 25th anniversary with the family. The food is excellent quality and good value, a lot of local produce used. Can't say anything about the accommodation (we live about 45 minutes away so no point in staying) but if it's up to the standard of the food, and I expect it is, then it should be more than worthwhile. |
